Pick up from your hotel in Arusha and depart with a picnic lunch for a full-day Ngorongoro Crater tour. Descend 2,000 feet into the crater in a 4WD vehicle for game viewing before ascending to your lodge on the crater rim.

River crossings in the Kogatende area usually begin in August and continue through October, with frequent crossings as herds move back and forth in response to rainfall and fresh pasture.

Depart after breakfast for a morning game drive. In the afternoon, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip or your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your home flight.
