  1. Arusha to Tarangire

    Start early from Arusha for a game drive in Tarangire. Spend time along the river and in baobab country, stopping for a picnic lunch before travelling to Karatu for dinner.

  2. Lake Manyara National Park

    Explore Manyara’s groundwater forest and lakeshore habitats on a game drive. Look for monkeys, elephants and waterbirds; lake levels and bird concentrations vary. Return to Karatu, with time to rest before the Serengeti journey.

  3. Across the highlands to Serengeti
